To me, companies show signs of increasing profitability when they get to afford higher grade instruments to carry out their business.
We were at Jollibee this morning and I noticed that their usual stirring sticks now double as mini straws! It looks like the usual straw but pinched longitudinally to form two cyllinders. Afar, it looks flat like a stirrer, but if you look closer, you'll see that you can sip at the other end and use it as a straw. Handy!
I wonder how much JFC spends for these utensils... Then again, comparing the stock's price from last year, the figures are just off the roof; that may explain why their hot chocolate is more chocolate-y now...
